The Gracer Medical Group (GMG) is an integrative medical practice using the best of conventional and alternative treatment modalities to facilitate the body’s innate healing response. We specialize in the treatment and management of pain, as well as other complex medical problems such as fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome. Another part of the practice is Gracer Behavioral Health Services, which treats drug addiction in a comprehensive, holistic manner.
Richard Gracer, MD, the GMG founder and director, is a well known specialist in prolotherapy (Regenerative Injection Therapy or RIT) and other regenerative treatments, including Plate Rich Plasma (PRP). He is also the first physician in the United States to treat intervertebral disc problems with ozone injections into the disc. He and his group of practitioners also provide other bio-oxidative medical treatments utilizing ozone and peroxide. Additionally, GMG treats heavy metal toxicity, thyroid dysfunction, and related problems.
Gracer Behavioral Health Services is a newer program at GMG for the treatment of drug addiction to opiates, alcohol, and stimulants such as cocaine and amphetamines.
Gracer Behavioral Health Services has developed an integrative paradigm to care for the many aspects of this serious medical disease. GMG specializes in new ways to treat and decrease the cravings that cause addiction relapse. The program includes a CARF accredited, intensive outpatient program that treats the psychosocial, as well as the psychiatric, nutritional, and medical problems.
